A few weeks ago, my boyfriend sent me the book "You Are Comfortable and Lovely" (편안하고 사랑스럽고 그래) on the occasion of our fourth anniversary. It's a book of illustrations by the artist Puung. It shows the daily life of a couple. We can see them enjoying delicious cups of coffee at home, meals with friends, enjoying a movie or playing with their pets. Personally, the illustrations are of the best quality and really tender. I fell in love when reading every sentence that she writes to describe the images.

When I saw the images, I couldn’t stop thinking about the relationship I have with my boyfriend. He is Korean and at the moment he's doing his military service, so we have a long distance relationship which is very difficult for us. However, seeing Puung’s drawings, my heart felt melancholy and I’m yearning to share with my boyfriend each and every one of the moments presented by the artist.

Puuung has over 237,000 followers on Instagram and is currently featuring her amazing work in a number of art galleries throughout Seoul. In her illustrations, she expresses the true meaning of love that we find in small things, in the unforgettable moments with our partner. Also, due to popular demand, the artist has offered to illustrate the story of her fans.

Love is something to which everyone can relate, and Puung reminds us that love is not found in expensive gifts. We must cultivate it day by day. Thanks, Puung, for bringing peace to my heart and making me realize that after this long wait, I will have a happy ending if we fight together.
