I came to PyeongChang House after four hours transfer by car from Seoul to Gangneung. This was my first time to Pyeongchang. I was very impressed with the landscape, but I was feeling a bit under the weather. My face was like thunder! Do you know what caused that? The weather wasn't good. It was drizzling. However, I had a wonderful time in Pyeongchang, that I'll never forget. Thanks to a special house, it put me in a good mood!

The 2018 PyeongChang House is located in Gangneung, Gangwon-do Province. It opened in February 2016.
The promotional center has been designed with a winter sport theme, while the colors of the facility reflect those in the official Games emblem.
It has been fashioned out of recycled 40-foot containers, making it environmentally friendly, say the organizers.

The promotional center is split into five different sections, including a Main Exhibition Room, a Virtual 4-D Experience Room, the entrance corridor and a Wishing Tree.
The promotional center isn’t big, but it is very nice and modern, with lots of made-in-Korea technologies. It also showed the progress of preparations for the 2018 Winter Games.
Athlete models are on display in the Main Exhibition Room.
Information panels along the corridors introduce winter sports.

The slogan for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games is “Passion. Connected.” The two simple words are said to express the objectives and the planned legacy of the Games.
Visitors can learn about the Winter Games and try some virtual ski jumping and snowboarding in both 3-D and 4-D. It’s awesome!
A small mockup lets visitors learn about winter sports.
There's a poster about the history of the Winter Games.
There's an area for guests to express their hopes and wishes for the Games. People here really love their Winter Games.
I left a note, too. I hope to come back here as soon as possible!

I believe the 2018 PyeongChang House will be heavily visited by youth, teenagers and non-Korean tourists.

Here’s a video about  the 2018 PyeongChang House.
