I recently traveled to Geumohsan Mountain in Gumi City, where I live.

As we all know, spring also means the season of flowers. I wanted to capture the seasonal beauties before they were all gone.

I went for a hike extra early, departing at 6 a.m., to avoid the crowds and it was a smart move. I was able to capture pictures of some of the flowers in their purest form of beauty.

Cherry blossom trees are reflected in the water.
Branches are full of cherry blossoms.
A close-up view lets you carefully inspect a red apricot flower.
The cherry blossom branches dangle over the stream.
Cherry blossoms twigs fall into the crystal clear stream.
Cherry blossoms look even more beautiful close-up.
Red apricot blossoms challenge the cherry blossoms for most beautiful flower.
Forsythias and red apricots grow next to each other.
